A Day in the Life

For posterity, I thought it would be fun to track my day with Owen at 6 1/2 months. He is such a joy at this age, rolling and smiling and singing. He loves the tags on toys, blankets, and clothes. Two days ago, he started to do this chewing motion as he is starting to teethe we think. It's so cute! Today he took a shower with daddy- his first shower! We had three naps and lots of rice cereal and sweet potatoes, and a great walk in the park. Here is the rundown:

6am ish- Owen wakes up. Daddy brings him in for me to nurse him. We both fall back to sleep for a bit.
6:45 am- I ask Derek to get up with him and change his diaper. I get up ten minutes later for the day.
7 am- I prepare Owen's rice cereal with 3 T of cereal and 1 3/4 oz. pumped milk
7:15 am-Owen eats cereal and plays in high chair
7:35 am- change poopy diaper/get dressed
8:00 am-play in exersaucer
8:10 am- saline rinse nose for stuffiness (this works like a charm!)
8:15 am- play in pack and play
8:30 am-mommy and baby yoga on big rug downstairs: heart to heart, pull-ups. mommy baby dance party!
9:00 am-offer 6 oz. bottle; baby eats 3 oz. and falls asleep!
9:15 am-sleepybug takes first nap of the day. While he's asleep, I water the garden, blog, design and order our New Year's card, and write a few baptism invites.
11:15 am- baby wakes. diaper change. play in exersaucer
11:35 am-play in highchair
12:00 - drinks 6 oz. bottle
12:15 pm- play on floor w/blocks
12:30 pm- change diaper
1:10 pm - eats lunch- whole jar Earth's best sweet potato
1:30 pm- shower with daddy! full and warm and cozy and sleepy after.
1:45-2:45 pm-second nap
3:00 pm- walk at the park!
4:00 pm- 5 oz. bottle
4:20-5 pm -plays on floor in our room while I clean up
5:15- small sweet potato, 2 T rice cereal with 1 oz.
5:45-6:30 plays in our room while I clean up
6:30 - third nap (he's still sleeping so I'll have to update later!) While he sleeps, mommy makes bed with fresh sheets and blogs!
