Owen's Monkey Business

Last Sunday we were able to spend time with family members on my dad's side of the family near Franklin, PA. It was a gorgeous Fall day full of delicious food, family, and fun. Giant vegetables, falling leaves, and historic tractors set a backdrop made for a Fall frolic. I plan on adding more pix soon.

This past week we had very special visitors on Wednesday and Thursday nights! Wednesday the Knieste came to visit during their winter break trip to LA. On Thursday Gretchen, Auggie and Jack came to visit. They will be relocating to Burbank next month. It will be fun to have them closer once again. Jack is just over a year old and quite a mover and a shaker! He had fun exploring our downstairs and helping us get ready for babyproofing. Such a fun time seeing both these families!

Owen turned eight months old on Feb. 12. We were traveling for his "monthly" birthday; visiting relatives in Rhode Island. O. saw his first snow, met lots of cousins, aunts, an uncle and his great-grandpa "papa". It was a wonderful trip, but sad in that Gramp Joe (who had planned to meet us there) couldn't make it in due to the snow in Atlanta. Here are some shots from the trip. We had so much fun when Tia Jean came to visit! Now we just need to get the rest of the family out here! Jean came with us to see the Dr. for Owen's first cold. Here they are in the waiting room. After the doctor, we headed to Ojai. (see previous post) She was also here for Owen's baptism on January 10. (see next post)
